We are happy to receive submissions (all year round) in the form of art, photo essays, travel writings, or video documentaries related to the Himalayan and trans-Himalayan regions such as (but not limited to) Lahaul, Spiti, Kinnaur, Ladakh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Tibet, Bhutan, Skardu, Nepal. We accept submissions in English, Hindi, Bhoti and Urdu.

You can contribute on the following topics and more:
1. Stories or experiences (eg. Childhood memory of any fair etc.)
2. Traditional knowledge (eg. Any old song, about flora and fauna etc.)
3. History
4. Social issue concerning the region (eg. climate change, gender etc.)

Here are some guidelines:

• We require a minimum of 1000 words for essays, articles and travel writings. The photo essays, art, poems, folktales video documentaries can be submitted without any word limit.
• We do not entertain plagiarism.
• If you are a beginner, don’t hesitate to send a query. The team will help you 🙂
• In case of artwork, photographs, or video, you can send them in a convenient JPEG/JPG/Mp4 format. While submitting, please mention your name and relevant details.
